Gabriel Amezcua is an anthropologist, musician and osteopathic physical therapist, specializing in medical anthropology and sociology of mental health. He has a Masters in Interculturality and Conflict Resolution. He is the co-creator of the harm reduction program of the civil association Espolea in Mexico, co-creator of the Infographic el Universo de las Drogas, and an activist for the decriminalization of psychedelic medicine. He has co-founded the Berlin Psychedelic Society, served as a consultant on psychedelic medicine, public health and social justice for the Open Society Foundation and MAPS, and has advised on various drug policy projects.
